About Holly Bank Caravan Park
Our caravan park is located just outside of Manchester in the calm and quiet countryside, a few miles from the M6.
Situated in Warrington, our caravan park gives you easy access to the whole of Manchester and its surrounding areas.
The local Area
Warrington is a town in the North West of England, right on the bank of the River Mersey, 20 miles west of Manchester. The Manchester Ship Canal cuts through the south of the Warrington from west to east.
There are many lovely places to visit around Warrington and beyond.
The Village of Lymm
Lymm is only 5 minutes drive from Holly Bank or a half hour walk. It's an ideal village to visit if you fancy a walk in the country. The local woodlands and meadows are teeming with wildlife and there are great views of the St Mary The Virgin Church. The nearby Lymm Dam makes a delightful place for a day out.
Visitors to the village can sit around the historic Lymm Cross - a unique historical feature dating from the 17th Century. The cross represents Queen Victoria's 1897 Diamond Jubilee.
The Mere Golf Resort and Spa
The award winning Mere Golf Resort and Spa is situated in Knutsford, 20 minutes from Holly Bank Caravan Park. The beautiful grounds have been owned for 35 of their 82 year history by the Boler family.
A brand new Health Club and Spa was unveiled by Sir Alex Ferguson In 2011.
Tatton Park can be found about 18 minutes drive from Holly Bank Caravan Park. Formerly owned by the Egerton family, Tatton Park was bequeathed to the National Trust in 1958.
It is presently financed and maintained by Cheshire East Council and is located in over a thousand acres of picturesque and beautiful deer park. The Park holds over 100 events a year, making it an ideal day out.
Visitors can view centuries of history at the Tudor Old Hall take a tour of the stunning mansion. You can also enjoy a leisurely stroll around the glorious Gardens or take the kids to the working Farm.
The Trafford Centre
The Trafford Centre in Manchester is easily accessible from our caravan park. It's a large indoor shopping centre and leisure complex approximately five miles west of Manchester city centre.
The Trafford Centre is the second largest shopping centre in the United Kingdom, so is guaranteed to have something for everyone.
Manchester City Centre
Manchester City Centre is less than half an hour's drive from Holly Bank. It is the third-most visited city in the UK, with fantastic culture, sights and architecture.
Explore the Manchester United Museum, The Manchester City FC Etihad Stadium, Dunham Massey park, the Manchester Art Gallery, or the National Football Museum at your leisure, with our low cost accommodation to come back to afterwards.
